Well known railway authors Steven Batty and Alan Whitehouse are trying to put together an album of the 1500v DC electrified MSW Railway in time for the 40th anniversary of the line’s closure in July 1981.
They are looking for colour slides taken in the 1960s and 1970s (or even earlier if any exist).
Though there’s plenty of material from the last couple of years of the line before closure, things thin out the further back we go.
